Handling Guide

Research Material Handling Basics

Good handling begins with clear labeling, conservative storage, and a record of when a material is received, opened, and used in a research workflow.

01

Protect the Vial

Keep the vial dry, protected from light, and refrigerated at 2–8°C. Avoid unnecessary temperature cycling and keep it in its labeled packaging when possible.

02

Maintain Your Internal Record

Record the product name, supplier, lot number, receipt date, storage location, and any internal sample identifier your laboratory uses. This supports traceability if questions arise later.

03

Check the Documentation First

Review the batch information and relevant COA before beginning a workflow. Align the material identity and lot number with your internal research record.
